Trouble initially but all worked out

I purchased three of these hoses (2 - beige, 1 grey) 50 feet long. I opened and used the two beige ones soon after receiving and they are great. I would give them 5 stars. However I waited awhile before hooking up the grey one and unfortunately for me it leaks at least at one of the connection ends. It's a pain to have to return something anyway but what was worse for me was that I was just beyond the 30-day return period. Also because of the spiral external surface of the hose you cannot just go to the local hardware store and pickup a hose connector replacement part. I have just tried to contact the company for a replacement connector. I will update later but until then I have an expensive coil of plastic sitting around in my basement.Update: I contacted Tuff-Guard about the problem. They responded telling me that they had a temporary malfunction in their manufacturing process that had resulted in some faulty hoses being made. They promptly sent out a new hose that I hooked up and it is working perfectly. They are a very professional organization and a class act. Highly recommend!

At last - no kinks!

I was tired of dragging around the heavy hose I was using to wash down my cement patio. Aside from kinks, it was so heavy it was forever catching on something. This hose is PERFECT! So light weight yet full size (as opposed to the thin tiny coil types). It reels back onto the holder with almost NO effort! I have it under a canopy cover to protect it from the sun as the dirctions said. I hope it lasts a VERY long time! The price was fairly good as I didn't care what color it was - it's a hose, not a fashion statement. I got gray and actually like that it "blends" with the cement! If you're looking for a hose that doesn't kink and is easy to move and reel up, this is the one.

Finally, Light weight hose and easy to hang!

For over 20 years, I have been very lazy about hanging up hoses after I use them. They have been heavy, the non-kinkable ones....always kink! Its just easier to kick them off to the side of the yard. YUK!I ordered three of these Tuff-Guard (grey is a nice neutral color) and they are so easy to use. They drag easily, very easy to hang, and amazingly light weight. They are a bit clumsy at first, but easy to get used to. I hung them about 4-1/2 ft high plus on my stucco walls. PERFECT! Easy for me and the hose absolutely does not kink!
