This hose contains lead

We bought this hose to fill a baby pool and do some light gardening. We thought that the anti microbial was a nice feature. Too bad the description didn't mention that the hose contains LEAD. We will be sending this one back unopened.

A Good Hose

This is a good basic garden hose, and the main reason I bought it was the anti-bacterial feature. You can't see it on the current image shown at this moment, but the hose I received is also marked as medium duty with a 350 psi rating on the cardboard image attached to the hose. The hose does have a "plastic" smell to it, but I guess this would be normal for all garden hoses. I actually have a Camco 40645 RV TastePURE RV & Marine Water Filter attached to the end of this hose to help clean the water where I live, so I can't attest to how the hose affects the water, but with the anti-bacterial properties and filter I'm sure everything is fine. Also, the hose has a rubber grip on the female end that attaches to the faucet, which is not the highest quality, but it's better than hoses that don't have any extra grip.
