Nice pot

It's a good pot, though more brightly turquoise than I expected, so it's more obvious to the eye than I would have liked. That will change with time, I imagine. Funny enough, it is striking in its looks, so people ask what it's for - lol. So much for hiding the hose.One thing I'd say is that this would never easily house a regular size hose (1") unless it's under 25 feet of it. You'd be better off buying a hose caddy and a portable fence or something like that, for a longer hose. When I saw the pot, knew we needed more than 25, so I opted for 50' coiled non-kink 1/2" hose with sprayer, and that fits with room to spare in there.

Good - But not for Ocean side locations

We bought 11 of these good direction pots in various designs for an ocean side commercial location. the Pots look great, and work perfectly BUT - they are not all brass.The pots hold plenty of hose, they are sturdy even when the gardeners are not careful, and they stand up to rain, wind, dirt, etc. easy to clean and look nice.HOWEVER - there is a bead at the top of the pot made of steel - the rest of the pot is solid brass. After 18 months all pots have jagged edges where the steel has rusted and worn away the brass covering. Basically they are all now unusable and will need to be replaced. I am calling the Mfg and will update this if they take care of the problem.These pots would be perfect for other locations - they really are very nice, but the steel in them just does not work if you are around salt air.
