Someone built a *much* better mousetrap!

I bought this and its big (75') brother. I was reluctant because they're kind of pricey compared to your average garden hose, but I was hoping this would free me from tangles, kinks and the major hassle of re-coiling a long hose when done with it. It does all that. It's like a big Slinky, except that if it does get tangled (which you almost have to work at to accomplish), a little shaking removes the tangle. Storage is beyond easy - you drag the hose where you want to store it, and just drop it on top of itself. Makes a funny-looking pile of coils but that is really all there is to it.The fittings on each end are of very good quality and there are robust-feeling strain relievers at each end. I was afraid that when I really stretched it out, it would lose its tendency to coil back up but not so. I was mostly worried that the smaller-than-usual diameter of the hose wouldn't allow enough water to pass for me to use my small electric pressure washer to full effect, but I could tell no difference with these new hoses vs. traditionally sized larger ones.Yes, they're expensive, but in this case I think I got what I paid for. Great stuff!

Made it through the first summer

This is the second coiled hose I purchased from Amazon. The first was a Plastair Springhose Deluxe, which lasted one summer, then developed pinhole leaks in the hose....a $40 waste. The Water Right seems to be a better product. It stretches well, without kinking. The only issue is some tangling as I try to extend it. I stored it last week, as the temps are falling now. However, yesterday, I brought it back out to water some newly-seeded patches of lawn. It's nice to carry a 50-ft hose in a compact bundle and move it around the yard....beats bringing out the full-size garden hose and hooking it up. I like the color since it blends in well with the garden, and the connectors are good-quality. If it develops pin leaks, like the Plastair, I will certainly update this review and demote it a few stars, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I like this garden hose because it retracts so quickly and works so well. I was worried about the lack of water pressure which can be a problem with these spiral hoses but I have not noticed a big difference from standard hoses. I like the brown color because it blends in with my mulch. I also bought the 75ft. hose made by this company and I like it too.
