Made in the USA. Gilmour hoses have the best performance, the best durability, and they have a lifetime replacement warranty that is truly as honest and straightforward as it says it is. You mail back a few inches from each end of the hose and they send you a new hose. The only trick is finding the warranty contact info if you are like every other person and you threw away the label once you put the hose in use. We live in rural Maryland and are on well water. We have just completed a large pool (70K gallons) and had to plan on how to fill it. Everyone here uses trucked in water at $240/6 000 gal load. We bought this hose and hooked it up to a 1.25 inch line straight from the well with a 50 gpm pump to the pool. I have measured delivery at 26 gpm; the standard 5/8" hose measured at a maximum of 7 gpm. This thing can move the water and saved me over $2000 in the cost of trucked in water.The fittings are high quality brass. The only negative is that it is heavy to move around, but really good quality.
