Not for Sale in CA

I ordered this white hose because it was advertised as one from which you can drink. Nothing like a drink of cold, clear well water from the hose on a hot day. Problem is most hoses are lead-lined and it is not advisable to drink from them.My hose was labeled Not for Sale in CA, so I called the company to find out why. Seems CA standards regarding lead content in hoses is more stringent than in other states. While the lead content of this hose is low and considered safe for drinking, it has more lead than CA allows.It does not kink. I love that it is white and highly visible. I won't tell the powers that be, if you won't, that I have it!
