Simply awesome. I remounted my hose hanger so that this hose is now visible from inside the hose. It is a piece of man-art! It is heavy, but not stiff, so is easy to use. It'll never kink, has great connection hardware, and has good flow.I had no need for an armored hose; it was simply the only decent garden hose available in a 15' length in American, so I splurged. Glad I did -- it makes me smile every time I look at this totally-overkill product.

I bought this item because my Lab/Retriever mixes had chewed through three water hoses in as much time. I tried running the hoses through PVC pipes and behind our outdoor storage units, but they continued to gnaw on whatever they could find. Several folks on the dog forums recommended this hose. I bought the 15 foot one so I could run it to the outside of the fence and attached it to the hose reel. Now the only hose the dogs have access to is the Armadillo. This hose is very flexible, durable, and the dogs haven't made a dent. If you have chewers, I highly recommend this product. If the price scares you, add up the cost of replacing your hoses.
